Doctrine is a set of ideas or beliefs that are taught or believed to be true.
Biblical doctrine refers to teachings that align with the revealed Word of God — the Bible.
False doctrine is any idea that adds to, takes away from, contradicts, or nullifies biblical doctrine.

 

2 Timothy 1:13 NIV

"What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus."

 

ὑγιαίνω (hoo-gee-ah-ee-no)
ὑγιαίνω = to be healthy

 

"We confess God's word, the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament, as the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine, and conduct."
