Inspirational Shorts - Poem by Merle Collins

Merle Collins (born 29 September 1950 in Aruba) is a distinguished Grenadian poet and short story writer.  You can check out some of her books HERE  Her first collection of poetry, Because the Dawn Breaks, was published by Karia Press in London in 1985, at which time Collins was a member of African Dawn, a performance group combining poetry, mime, and African music.

The Word for today is Enthusiastic - think of the things that you currently doing and the enthusiasm for them.  What activities create more enthusiasm and why and what nuggets of wisdom do you take away from the experience.

Think about the changes you would like in your own life and the step or steps you would like to take. Take out your art journal and be creative, use colour, texture, whatever you feel inspired to use.
