Capitulate to their coldness, as we are back for our second season of old Amazing Race recaps - Amazing Race Australia 2! Over these twelve weeks, three people who will always offer you an inauthentic high-five - Logan, Michael & Michelle - are recapping a season that has an insane reputation amongst fans (which is completely justified), continuing with the sixth leg and inevitable elimination of Ross & Tarryn.
In this episode - Michelle thinks Logan has game, everyone gets free clothing, we try and fix the Intersection, Sarah forgets she's in a race, this season is far twistier than we remember, there's a Turkish carpet story, Michael saves the internet, Die Hard still isn't a Christmas film (topical!), the Paul impressions return much to Michelle's delight, Shane & Andrew go looking for some carpet, we go to our Australian Teaching Correspondent for a fact check, Paul gets humbled, Jo refuses to have five minutes of torture, Michael spots some camera trickery, an encounter with a shoe shiner leaves trainers unbuffed, we wonder what the point of the leg was, Ross & Tarryn get ranked and we explain why Grant cried.
Thank you for listening - we will see you next week for Leg 7!
Please note: This episode is intended on being spoiler-free - however, as with our other historical recaps, this episode may contain references to episodes that we have already covered - namely from Seasons 3; 23-32; Australia 3; Canada 2-5 and Asia 5.
Additional note: Very surprisingly, this is by far the worst episode of Amazing Race Australia 2 - it's all good episodes (well, maybe one more stinker!) from here on out!
