On this episode, I speak with Joey Vannucchi, vocalist for the band From Indian Lakes, one of the best indie bands out right now. My last discussion (published over at AbsolutePunk.net) with Joey in Portland, OR at the Roseland Theater was something I really valued - I truly appreciated his honesty and time. So when I found out that he was coming back on a headlining tour, I knew I wanted to pick up where we left off, at least in some capacity. We talk about the headlining tour, his recent trip to Italy, and their upcoming overseas tour with Circa Survive. Later on, we also talk about their single “Am I Alive?” being played in Starbucks stores - did you know Joey used to work there for six years? I didn’t!
