On this week’s episode, I speak with Josh Bradford, guitarist for the band Silverstein. Josh is one of the funniest people in the entire alternative music scene, and I’m glad I got the chance to finally sit down and speak with him! We talk about a wide variety of topics in this laid back conversation, including: Canadian geography, living in Toronto (and how expensive it is!), touring in Europe, playing more from Arrivals and Departures, playing a “prize wheel” game in Alaska to determine a setlist, thoughts on band practice, the possible return of Silverstein/Beartooth supergroup “Silvertooth”, favorite Vegan restaurants in the U.S. and what he carries on the bus, the Silverstein Running Club, how being an extra for a Canadian teen drama led to his first guitar, Nik Huber guitars, being asked not to come back to guitar lessons as a teenager, Ryan Hart (who performed “Smashed Into Pieces” on an American Idol audition), bands he’d like to take out on tour, a “Long Songs” record, the “Make America Rock Again” tour, favorite TV shows and movies, and then spending the entire fall on tour.
