There is little discussion that America's education systems need an overhaul. For decades the only solution was to throw more money. I have yet to see any corelation data corelating teacher pay with high student achievement. 

Most polls that rate school districts only take into account money spent per student and college entrance. I am not sure that going forward that this is a reliable metric for evaluating how schools are doing.

It may be time to give our education system more than a face-lift but completely shift the paradigm on what success in education looks like.
