Flint Jamison spent 20 years in aerospace as an engineer and program manager. He is now finding a path to early retirement through commercial real estate investments. In this episode of the Real Estate (Un)Success Stories podcast, Flint shares a wealth of information with us and he reaffirms how important it is to have the courage to take that first, small step.

Flint started his real estate endeavor with a duplex that he rehabbed in 2018. From there he quickly pivoted to multifamily syndications, where there is greater stability and returns. Flint is an LP on 3 properties and is just finishing up a capital raise for his first deal as a GP. Flint’s portfolio is currently around 700 units.

Key Takeaways:

As syndicators, priority #1 is the investor, priority #2 is the tenants.
Do you capital raise before or after you find a property?
Prime, prep and educate your investors early in the game.
