It is with a newfound sense of optimism that we bring you this week’s episode! As of Monday, May 4th, the Ontario government has permitted courses to officially begin preparations for the 2020 golf season. To help give us some insight on what this means, we speak to Steve Grass, Club Manager at The Nest Golf Club at Friday Harbour. Steve explains what is going on at his course right now and what changes golfers across Ontario can expect to see when they’re able to get back out and play in the coming weeks.

To learn more about The Nest, check out Episode #23 where we sat down with Steve for an extended conversation about Innisfil’s newest golf destination.

After talking to Steve, we then discuss some new updates from the tours, including further schedule revisions and some changes to player eligibility and status on both the PGA and Korn Ferry Tours. We also talk through two newly announced made-for-TV matches coming this month - The Match: Champions for Charity and Taylormade Driving Relief. Both events will feature star-studded lineups and should help to tide over desperate fans as they anxiously await the return of competitive golf.

To round out the episode, Brent takes us through the latest edition of TWITH, where he discusses Tom Watson and his dominance at the Byron Nelson Classic.
