This week we are very excited to bring to you our first major preview of the year as we talk all about the PGA Championship, which is set to begin this week at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco, California. We talk about the course, some key players we’ll be watching as well as make our picks for who will bring home the historic Wanamaker Trophy.

Before doing so, we also preview the LPGA Tour season, which was just resuming as we recorded this episode. We get into some of the tournaments and changes to the schedule you can expect to see this year, as well as catch up on where some of the Canadian stars sit.

Even more exciting than any of that, we are pleased to introduce a brand new segment to the show: The 19th Hole. This segment aims to dive into some of the culture that is often associated with golf, specifically beer. In this debut episode, we sit down with Curtis, the resident golf expert from Town Brewery to talk all about the burgeoning young craft brewery right in our backyard here in Whitby, Ontario. We talk a bit about Town’s story, its involvement in the local the community and also get into some beer and course “pairings,” from their staples like Square Wheels, to the limited run one-offs, like Absolute Unit or the appropriately named Worm Burner.
