First things first! Paul, I'm sorry I haven't recorded a new intro yet. It's on the TDL babes.

Second things second! We're both really sorry about the sound qual of this one. It's poor. It's only cos we get too excited and start deepthroating our microphones, which we're sure you'll understand, and would do too if you were one half of an internationally famous, publicly, privately, and critically acclaimed podcast.

OK. This week we have read Madeline Miller's ancient (soz, 'new releases' now means anything from the last quarter-century obvy) retelling of an ancient myth, The Song of Achilles. If you haven't read this one, get ya tissues ready. It's a real t-jerker, and a total sole flasher. We wash it down with stories of gorgeous, gorgeous Benidorm and fond memories of small circles of bread with faux-prawns pasted atop. Oh, and a bloody mary.

We've missed you! Have you missed us? Of course you have. But fear not, once all the excitement around the biggest date in the Gregorian/Lunar/Julian/Mayan/etc. etc. calendar has dissipated in a big puff of multicoloured glitter (Eurovish, duh), we'll be BACK with a brand new ep where we say really intelligent things about Monica Heisey's Really Good, Actually. Until then, though, big snugs and snogs xxx
