Douglas Fetterly is a freelance writer and novelist with a passion for literature, love of adventure, and propensity for social consciousness in his stories. During his writing career, he was awarded 2nd place in the 2012 national New York City Gotham / The Writer Magazine short story contest, judged by the Director of Creative Writing at Harvard. His relative education includes a Bachelors in English Literature, summa cum laude, and storytelling classes at Dominican University, Marin County, CA, while his cultural perspectives expanded through travel in Europe, Russia, Egypt, Ghana, Asia, South Pacific, Mexico, and Canada.
