Meet the couple at the heart of The kindHuman Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) set up to fund clean water projects.

TJ Foltz was a youth pastor and a single dad of 2 from Philadelphia. For TJ, starting a bottled water company with no experience in the beverage industry, no money,  no plan – and donating 100% of the net profits to charity – was not part of his life plan. But that’s what happened. Hear how he turned 2 pallets of drinking water into a million dollar company and, even better, clean water for more than 130,000 people around the world.

Meg Foltz, a critical care nurse at a local hospital, packed up a team to help with the 2010 Haiti earthquake crisis. There, she found a full-blown cholera crisis that changed her life trajectory and motivated her to use her platform and her voice to get people clean water for their health. Along the way, she fell in love with TJ, the CEO of a little-known company called Humankind.

All direct donations to kindHuman are tax deductible. Humankind is a for-profit beverage-selling business that send funds to the Foundation, which works with valued partners to provide clean drinking water around the world. Iwww.BeHumanKind.com
