Wow! Meet world-class musician Sandy Gennaro!

Sandy Gennaro was born and raised in NYC and currently resides in Nashville, TN. Throughout his career as a world class rock and roll drummer, Sandy has toured the globe and recorded with world renowned artists: Cyndi Lauper, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Bo Diddley, Johnny Winter, The Monkees, Joe Lynn Turner, Michael Bolton, Benny Mardones, Craaft, The Mamas and Papas and Jon Paris.

Sandy has recorded several Top 10 singles, performed for 1+ Billion fans spanning his 50+ year career, and made numerous TV appearances including The Tonight Show, The Grammy Awards, The American Music Awards, The MTV New Years Ball, and The Late Show with David Letterman.

From 1987–2014, Sandy gave lessons and master classes, and inaugurated the Music Business program at the Drummers Collective in NYC. He is a favored counselor at Rock and Roll Fantasy Camps. Teaching opened his eyes to the vital ingredients that enabled him to overcome and thrive as a performer and in his personal life, so he created the acronym B.E.A.T.S for “beating the drums, and beating the odds”. He has shared his B.E.A.T.S. presentation with FedEx, Belmont University, Pacific Hotel Management LLC, Sam Ash Corp., The U.S. Space and Rocket Center, The Collective NYC, The School of Rock and other organizations, with extraordinary results energizing, motivating and inspiring everyone who participates.
