In this episode, Abbe talks tacos and rock star chefs with food critic Jeff Gordinier, who has just published his travelogue-cum-memoir, Hungry: Eating, Road-Tripping, and Risking It All with the Greatest Chef in the World. The book details the several years he spent following perhaps the best chef in the world, René Redzepi, around the world and what it taught him about life, food, and himself.
Abbe also (rather unfairly) reviews Emily St. John Mandel's forthcoming novel, The Glass Hotel, which is not out until March 2020, but is so good she just couldn't resist.
Finally, Abbe brings Emma back into the studio and the two of them play everyone's favorite game: Guess the Celebrity Audiobook Narrator!
