68 - Daytona 500 & NASCAR 2022 Preview Ft: Tim Schingen of The Racing Insiders

We got to see cars on track at Daytona for practice. Two sessions were conducted. Who top the charts and what manufacturer showed the most speed leading into Wednesday night's pole qualifying. 
What offseason? Dirt track racing continues is mad tear through the month of February. World of Outlaws, USAC Midgets, All-Stars, Lucas Oil Late Models and the all new Xtreme Outlaw Non-Wing Series all in action over the weekend. We recap all the thrills and spills from across Florida.
USAC National Sprint Cars get ready to get their season under way at Bubba Raceway Park. Many drivers already getting laps in with the Xtreme Outlaw series. Will it payoff heading into this weekend or will we see someone new take home the checkers?

Tim, Marc and Mike dive right into the NASCAR talk. A quick look back at 2021 and Kyle Larson's dominate performance. Can Kyle repeat last seasons success? Will he make it back to back championships? 
2022 brings the debut of the all new NexGen car. After 3 years of hype and development it's time to see if it lives up to its billing. Having seen it race at the Clash in L.A. with a few minor mechanical issues. What will it produce racing wise at Daytona? What other mechanical bugs might we see throughout speed weeks? Which OEM may have an advantage right out the gate over the others? Will a veteran driver or a youngster figure this car out first? 
Schedule changes, new faces in new places, new teams being formed and a lot of unknowns headline the upcoming 2022 season. Tim gives us some insight into what he expects in 2022 and beyond in NASCAR. A lot of what may happen this year could have a domino affect in years to come. What might that be? New OEM's? New Tracks? Old Tracks making a return? More new teams entering NASCAR? We get Tim's take on what could prove to be a pivotal year for NASCAR.
