Welcome to the second episode of Re-Arranged, a podcast about the FYI show Arranged that follows three couples as they prepare for what the show says is an “arranged” marriage.

First, the entire JCast Network wants to wish Taylor and David a hearty Mazel Tov on their marriage, which we saw during this episode.

As always we recap the episode, looking at the drama unfolding in Texas, in California and in New York, and then focus primarily on Vicki and Ben, and the Jewish issues surrounding their impending “arranged” marriage. Tonights episode focuses primarily on intimacy issues, be them the “first dance” at their wedding, as well as the issues surrounding two non-married Orthodox Jews being along together.

To further discuss this issue, host Darone Ruskay brings in Rabbi Stephanie Ruskay, Associate Dean of the Jewish Theological Seminary’s Rabbinical School (and his “we were along before we got married” wife), to explore further some of these issues.

Arranged can be seen on the FYI channel on Tuesday nights at 9:00pm.
