Thomas J. Saadi, Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs, says military veterans will be offered workforce assistance, including employment and training guidance, from the Connecticut Department of Labor’s Veteran Services staff during Stand Down 2019 on September 20th at the Department of Veterans’ Affairs main campus. More than 30 government agencies and social service organizations will take part in Stand Down 2019, to be held from 8am to 2pm at the Rocky Hill campus, 287 West Street.
