Greetings everyone, I hope you’re all enjoying the spring holidays, breaks and weather! It’s looking beautiful in NY.

Today I’m interviewing the beautiful and brilliant Janan Sarwar, and we cover a variety of topics about how she went from pharmacy to publishing entrepreneur, as well as some basic health coaching that was instrumental in her health journey.

Janan is a dynamic entrepreneur, pharmacist, publishing professional, and mother of three lovely girls in Louisville, KY. She is the founder of the company Global Bookshelves International, an independent publishing house focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion in content and voices from around the world. Global Bookshelves International was inspired by her eldest daughter, Leena, and her children’s storytelling podcast Salaam Storytime.

Janan actively serves as a medical content writer, pharmacy career coach, and publisher. She is passionate about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, speaking, writing, and connecting with others on these topics.

A quote I say is: “There is tremendous value in self-reflection. My growth stems from evaluating how closely what I think is important aligns with how I spend my time.”
