Joseph Anderson started his first company, Chisel in 2011, which initially was as a social network platform and pivoted to a content creation tool that could be used to put quotes on images. After working on it for 3 years, he decided to stop and focus on something else. Then in 2017 the idea for MightyScout was born, a tool for digital marketers that finds and tracks brand-relevant Instagram influencers.
