Mattie and her Mom Vanessa visit with us to share their passion project called Benny Bears! They share what Benny Bears are and the amazing story behind this great project. From the heart of a child comes a love for her brother as she uses her talents to create wonderful craft bears to raise funds to train a service dog for her brother. Hear her amazing story on this episode!

Also, we discuss the many ways in which one can get involved in supporting those in need in Houston and the Gulf Coast area as they begin the process of recovery after the devastation of Hurrican Harvey.

San Antonio Stephanie files another great report on birthday freebies, and shares what some local restaurants and establishments are doing to help out those in need after this Hurricane.
