Air Vice-Marshal Navinchandra N Shah ( Retd.) is one such rare gem of Gujarat who fought against all odds to join the Indian Airforce in June 1962 after obtaining the Degree in Electrical Engineering from Gujarat University Ahmadabad.


He served the country for 35 years and contributed immensely to defense technology development during his tenure in various establishments.


He took part in operations during the 1965 and 1971 wars.


He has worked closely with our most respected President His Excellency Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam for almost 14 years.
