We are coming at you live from our isolation! We reached out to families in
the PNW to tell us how they’re doing during this pandemic, and how they are
surviving life at home in quarantine. From Portland to Peru, listen in as a
few families share their stories.

We don’t know about you, but things look REAL different around here. The current pandemic has been A LOT for us all. No school, layoffs, staying at home all the time. This quarantine stuff (although very much necessary) is hard.

Katie (and Lee Ann on the laptop) recording this episode from inside her incredibly disorganized closet #noshame

So, instead of our original episode that we planned for this month, we thought it only fitting to check-in on each other. Lee Ann and Katie are both on the mic, although from their respective, social distancing appropriate locations.

In addition, we hear from a number of other moms dealing with their own quarantine situations. Highlights include:

Jenny has a funny and grounding perspective, in addition to a super cool project she’s put together for her twins.

Anna talks about her transition to working from home with the entire family there and checking in wither her partner.

Kari and her partner are also trying to figure out how to juggle having both parents working while still managing childcare. It sounds like there are lots of boardgames at her house!

Sarah tells us about her experience with her family. She also has a son that she’s co-parenting with an ex-partner, which brings on some additional anxieties.

Steph is formerly from the Pacific Northwest and now lives in Lima, Peru. She shares her experience from there and boy, the are some BIG differences.

Mentioned in the episode, this is what’s in the front room of Katie’s house now (thanks to her husband),

Since we’re all likely gong to be home for the foreseeable future, feel free to send us a recorded voice memo to let us know how things are going on your end. Are there any unique challenges you’re having to navigate now? How are you feeling? We want to know what’s going on in your world.

Send us your voice meme to [email protected].

Hang in there, friends. We’re all in this together.
