Text: Romans 8:31-39

What then shall we say to these things?

Our Justification, sanctification, and our glorification is tied back to “No condemnation.” “Nothing” – What can we say? “Everything” – We should be in continuous praise and live for Christ.

If God is for us, who can be against us?

“If” God is for us? This can mean “Since” or “Because” Psalm 118:6 “…What can man do to me?”

He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all – how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?

Paul is providing evidence God’s “own” Son shows sacrifice.

Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect?  It is God who justifies.

Brings us to a court setting – Who brings a charge/ Who accuses? Accusations, though may be true, will not stand which would cause our justification to be reversed.

Who is to condemn?

Is not saying, No one will condemn, or even that the condemnation would not be deserved. God justifies us due to what Jesus did FOR us (crucifixion, resurrection, ascension, and intercession of Christ)

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Nothing/No one can ever separate us from the love of Christ.  We are called to be “More” than conquerors.
