Cassandra Spencer is a former U.S. Army Public Affairs Officer turned Facebook insider turned Project Veritas undercover journalist. Her work has generated millions of views on social media, garnered media attention, and prompted investigations at the local, state, and federal levels. In one instance, her investigation led to a felony conviction. She is the author of the newly released book Impact: How I Went Behind Enemy Lines in Our Struggle Against the Far Left.

This episode’s name is inspired by a humorous joke from the interview. Certainly, Zuckerberg is not always right. Cassandra talks about her job working as a contractor with Facebook and how she began to notice the censorship of conservative material. This eventually led to her going undercover and leaking the practices to Project Veritas. She also discusses the need for reform in family court and her bid to run for the House of Representatives in 2022 for the state of Texas.

Philip Sharp discusses in the essay segment two words that Cassandra brought up during the interview: “Intellectual curiosity.” Do we have the courage to exercise our intellectual curiosity and truly observe what is going on around us? What would happen if our nation could be full of citizens who had the intellectual curiosity to discover and confront the things that threaten our liberties?
