The memory of the legendary Ronnie James Dio will live on forever! Being one of the most influential figures in Metal history, RJD had his share of "disciples". Axe extrordinaire Craig Goldy's career was off and running before even meeting Dio. But it was his contribution to the last handful of DIO's (the band) years and albums that brought Mr. Goldy to the heavy metal forefront. Goldy's new band, DREAM CHILD, basically picks up where Dio left off. The project features Dio's last line up, including bassist Rudy Sarzo and drummer Simon Wright, and features a fresh new voice. In a Creature Feature long time coming, we sat down with Mr. Goldy. We discussed the new band and album, the "supergroup" concept, and the awesomeness that is RJD! In our News, Views, and Tunes, we welcome the input of our social media type dude "Big" Willy. We hit up a local Fest and provide a brief lesson in etiquette. Musically, we crank the Dream Child album, new tracks from PIG DESTROYER, NECRONOMICON and we had to go with some classic Dio! Horns!!
