Faithful listeners of the Radio Survivor program know that Jennifer Waits is a huge proponent of the educational benefit for students who participate in their college radio stations. That educational benefit is multiplied “by a million” in her opinion when the students are in high school. On this edition of the program, Jennifer takes us on a tour of what is likely the oldest and longest running high school radio station in the country. Operations Director Kevin Flink shows her around KBPS, the radio station of Benson Polytechnic High School in Portland, Oregon.

In his Radio Letter, Matthew Lasar tells us why he believes Community Radio around the world will be more important than ever in the year 2035.
