Next Episode: Update: Tez Steinberg

Three years ago Tez Steinberg set a goal for himself: to row unassisted across an ocean. Since announcing his plan to the world, it’s been his single obsession. To fund the project, which requires the construction of a custom rowboat and purchase a variety of equipment necessary to survive the open ocean, he’s invested tens of thousands of his personal savings crowdfunded nearly $75,000. And he’s given this crazy mission a name: the United World Challenge.

A few days from now, Tez will finally put his boat in the water and set off across the Pacific Ocean. He plans to row 2,500 miles alone over the course of three months from California to Hawaii - something less than 9 people in the world have ever done.

Tez's story is an incredible example of someone with a massive dream, the guts to share it with the world, and the relentless perseverance to make it happen.
