The Virgin

In this episode we are diving into part 2 of our 3 part series on the Shadow Archetypes of the feminine. A few weeks ago we discussed the Women's Union and today we are looking at the Virgin. The Virgin is a very important and vast archetype that strongly influences a woman's sexuality in our patriarchal society. We discuss 4 subarchetypes described by Carla's teacher, Shakti Malan - The Innocent Girl, The Princess in Need of Rescue, The Virtuous Madonna and the Self Righteous Spinster.

Each of these are part of the shadows that prevents us from claiming the full power of the feminine. The more we know, the more we can dispel the shadows that hold us back from our truest embodiment.
