Latinx financial experts-turned-influencers are using their social media platforms to normalize conversations about money and advocating for better financial literacy—something that has traditionally been a taboo subject in many Latinx families, nor has it been prioritized in primary education. And younger generations are paying attention: a recent study revealed that over 70% of GenZers said better financial literacy could’ve improved their money management during the pandemic. Additionally, online trading apps like Robinhood and Webull have given access to a new, younger and more social-media savvy crop of day-traders—many of whom are from communities who have historically been sidelined but now see a big opportunity to build generational wealth. We get to hear from some of our favorite money influencers like Natalie Torres @financiallysavvylatina, Delyanne “The Money Coach” Barros, @missbehelpful Yanely Espinal, Camino Financial’s Sean Salas, and Ramona Ortega, CEO and Founder of @mymoneymyfuture
