Almost all fields in #education, presume that there is a right answer. As a consequence, we often teach (and research) that there is a single answer, or at least a better answer.

Regression — the workhorse of science — presumes that there is a single best answer.

You also here “if you simply just follow these six easy steps..., it will be amazing.”

In my life experience, which doesn’t mean much, there’s never really a right answer.

It’s just a big mess.

It’s one big episode of “Nailed It.” in this show, they show real life people making cakes. The end result is often very comical.

What is right today is not right tomorrow. What is right for me is not right for you.

I will never be able to identify the right answer.

But, I can bumble my way.

The only thing that we can do in our control is to keep getting up and trying.

You will never identify a better answer unless you have the gumption to keep trying every day.
