R2Kast 110 - John Hamilton talks vet school, New Zealand, farming and the ‘Man City of Ayrshire’!

Today we welcome a good friend of mine into the podcast! John, from a beef and sheep farm in Darvel, Ayrshire always enjoyed working with livestock but didn’t see farming at home in his future.Veterinary was always the goal and work was required for that! John mentioned that he was clever but by no means didn’t have to try, highers required effort and his firs year of vet school came as a bit of a shock! Getting through the first year he got into the swing of things in the second and 4 years later was qualified!A few vet practises followed before settling at his current practise, alongside his partner Chloe at ark vets in Lockerbie! He tells stories about getting into veterinary, his travels to SE Asia and NZ where he both worked and holidayed! Always enjoy chatting to someone in or as you ALWAYS learn something about them!
