I'm a big time Mortal Kombat fan, all the way back since MK II. As a teen, I loved the 1995 Mortal Kombat film for what it was... a video game adaptation. That was back in 1995. That was back before Marvel Studios taught Hollywood how to craft a stellar film out of a simpler piece of source material, such as a comic book or a video game. That was before games like Spiderman and God of War taught the gaming industry how to turn a video game into a film one can experience through a screen and a controller.
Needless to say... I've got thoughts about the Warner Bros revival of the Mortal Kombat film franchise. Let's get into it!
