To commemorate TDOR, we wanted to talk to someone whose passion is to lift up trans & gender expansive folx of color, who are the most impacted by transphobic violence.
Merrique Jenson is just this person. She's the Director of SocialScope Productions & Program Director at Transformations in Kansas City, and she is an all-around bad ass. She describes herself as a queer, trans, & multiracial artist & advocate. We describe her as a #tranthropologist. She's a beautiful mouthful, and we really loved this conversation.
Thank you, Merrique!
