Last week we met Harmony and talked about what it means to be yourself. This week Harmony is telling us more about her colourful past and how it molded her into the person she is today - both the good and the not so good aspects.

We delve into why ‘negatives’ (or contrast as I like to call it) are an essential part of our growth and thus happiness.

Harmony also talks about trauma, and highlights that trauma is not only the big contrasting events in our life but also the little things. And that we often discard the little microtraumas as unimportant and thus push them down inside and never release or deal with them. These little traumas build up over time and have a big impact on our daily lives.

It is only fear that prevents us from delving into ourselves to start uncovering our true feelings. In essence, many of us are walking around in chains made up of our traumas and fears, unable to live our lives to the full magnitude we could and deserve. The crazy part is that we all hold the key to unlock the chains if we dare…. Harmony’s statement, “Fear is a real jerk.” could not be truer!
