Why Michael James?
2017 was a big year for Michael James with his many releases on Constant Sound and their vinyl only sub label Constant Black hitting the top spot on the bestsellers charts. Every release Michael has done has sold out, and sold quickly, gaining support from artists ranging from the likes of iO (Mulen), Apollonia, Barac, Dana Ruh, @Enzo Siragusa and Thomas Melchior/Melchior Productions Ltd between others.
Taking inspiration from the likes of Perlon artists, Ricardo Villalobos and Thomas Franzmann aka Zip, Michael has become an enviable vinyl collector, and has forged an underground sound out of his own fusing elements of dub minimal, house, and techno.
He’s roots started at very young age at the selected spot Underground Ibiza where he has gained support from the industries bests. Today hosts a residency at The Zoo Project, also in Ibiza.
