'Van Helsing' recap: Brad and Cort Talk 3x01, 'Fresh Tendrils'

Welcome back, Helsingers. Our long hiatus has officially ended. The season premiere, "Fresh Tendrils" makes quick work of catching us up on all vamp apocalyptic happenings for our fave survivors (and bloodsuckers). Vanessa wakes up from her nap looking for a fight with the Elder. Doc, Axel, and the others find themselves under attack by that mad doctor from last season. Of course, he grows curious when he finds out about Julius' ability to heal quickly and ya know, Flesh crawling from his grave.
