'The Magicians' recap: Brad and Cort Talk ep 2x11, "The Rattening"

A plague upon your castle indeed! On top of all of their other issues, Margo and Eliot have a new set of problems. Or pests rather. Some dark force is at work in Fillory and this time around it's turning the locals into snakes and rats. Eliot fears that his pregnant wife now has a tail and whiskers, but Margo knows better. Eliot's bestie spends most of the episode wrestling with her guilt and trying to figure out a way to fix things when the decision is taken from her hands.

Julia and Quentin make their way to the Underworld after facing off with one badass dragon. Millenials beware. The duo makes an interesting discovery or two while they wandering Hades and Persephone's realm, searching for Julia's shade. Also, Julia sees more than one familiar face in the hereafter. Meanwhile, Penny and Kady continue plotting their way into the library's poison room. They even enlist an interesting new ally who can hijack her way into Penny's dreams. Oh, how the tables turn. Quentin should enjoy that particular gem.
