‘Siren’ recap: Brad and Cort Talk Ep 1×08, “Being Human”

Welcome back to Bristol Cove! In ep 1x08, "Being Human",  flags are lowered to half-staff and nearly the entire town turns up to pay tribute to Xander's late father. Chris decides that he's had enough of the strange happenings in Bristol Cove and heads for drier land. Meanwhile, Ryn feels sorrow over the pain caused by her fellow Mers. Despite the danger of discovery, she shows up at the wake and corners Xander with an apology and the fact that his best friend has been lying to him about her existence.
