NEWS:

HBO renews "Westworld" but we have to wait until 2018 to get it "Full Frontal with Samantha Bee" has been renewed for another season and her show will move to Wednesday nights Syfy is developing Robert Heinlein’s sci-fi classic novel "Stranger in a Strange Land" to series Marvel announced their new ABC series: "Inhumans" Strong rumor has Disney eyeing Netflix as their next acquisition HBO is still pushing for a "Game of Thrones" prequel series that would be based on the story bible GRRM created -- which contains thousands of pages, apparently -- for his original series of books. A "Saved by the Bell" producer finally revealed that Jesse Spano was originally addicted to speed… not caffeine pills. S&P at NBC vetoed that notion as speed was too dark an option for a Saturday morning show. According to a CBS executive named Jim Lanzone, their new "Star Trek" series wouldn’t work on broadcast TV, saying: “Sci-fi is not something that has traditionally done really well on broadcast. It’s not impossible, for the future, if somebody figures it out. But historically, a show like "Star Trek" wouldn’t necessarily be a broadcast show, at this point.”
