About Maggie Langrick 


Maggie Langrick is a writer, editor, public speaker and media entrepreneur. She is CEO and publisher at Wonderwell which she founded in 2013. A hybrid publishing company, Wonderwell provides premiere editorial and publishing services to non-fiction authors. Its editorial mandate is to publish books that help, heal and inspire, in categories ranging from business and personal finance to psychology and health, personal development, spirituality and motivational memoirs. Maggie was shortlisted for the 2015 Tom Fairley Award for Editorial Excellence for her work on Shell: One Woman’s Final Year After a Lifelong Struggle with Anorexia and Bulimia, written by Michelle Stewart and published by LifeTree in 2015.


Before founding Wonderwell, Maggie had a 15-year career as a magazine and newspaper editor in London, England and Vancouver, Canada. Most recently, Maggie served as Arts and Life editor for the Vancouver Sun, western Canada’s largest newsroom. In her teens and early twenties, she was an award-winning film and television actress, starring in films such as My American Cousin and Harry and the Hendersons. She still can’t resist playing the room for laughs whenever she gets the chance.
