Susan Fales-Hill is a writer and television producer. She is currently the showrunner and an executive producer on Lena Waithe’s new BET sitcom, Twenties, about a young queer woman of color. Susan began her career in television working first on The Cosby Show and then on its spin-off, A Different World, where, as co-executive producer and head writer, she became one of the youngest - and, at the time, one of the only female - showrunners in Hollywood.

She is the author of two novels, Imperfect Bliss and One Flight Up, and a memoir, Always Wear Joy, about her mother, the late actress, and singer Josephine Premice.
