With their creation of Reginald’s Coffee, owners Julie and Matt Koczko have brought specialty coffee and a cozy café to the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Their warm and inviting coffee shop, which also doubles as a roasting room, is named after one of their furry kids; a lovable rescue dog named Reginald. One of the things that makes their space especially unique is its location in a renovated schoolhouse that’s owned and operated by the Bethel Park Historical Society. Reginald’s Coffee is playing an important role in the community, not only for its gathering space and delicious coffee and treats, but also for its contribution to the ongoing development and public use of a significant historical landmark. The combination of Matt’s engineering background and Julie’s interior design and marketing experience has been a winning formula in developing their café and brand. It’s evident from listening to their story that the trust they have in each other and in their team is a core ingredient of their success. Look for Reginald’s Coffee to continue to shape the coffee landscape in the South Hills and in the greater Pittsburgh region.
