A professor in the Digital Communications and Media program from Lethbridge College, Kris Hodgson-Bright talks about how to teach VR, what 360-degree journalism is, and the third annual experience of the world’s first virtual reality/augmented reality conference. The event took place at the end of March, hosted by Lethbridge College right in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Attendees first heard from the keynote speaker, Amy Lou Abernethy President, Creative Director, and Chief Learning Strategist at AMP Creative during the VR stream. Following the keynote, were presentations from the College’s first cohort of students from the Virtual and Augmented Reality Certificate Program.
