This week we sit down with a very dangerous man, Michael "Venom" Page.
A former kickboxer and karate practitioner, Page was frustrated with fighting for points. He craved real combat action and jumped fully into the sport of mixed martial arts.
What's resulted is an undefeated 13-0 career and a slew of memorable wins. For casual fans, you might remember Page as the guy who crushed his competitor's skull with a rapid-fire flying knee to his head. He followed up that win with a nod to Pokemon with his in-ring celebration dance.
The Londoner is a brash young competitor that calls himself "MVP" for a reason, he believes nothing less.
Now he faces off against a guy he truly dislikes in the veteran fighter, Paul "Semtex" Daley. Page and Daley set off round one of the Bellator welterweight tournament for the Battle for Britain and welterweight respect.
Page stopped through the studio to discuss being Trini-Jamaican, why he loves tournaments, and of course why he doesn't like Paul Daley. This is as real as it gets all in one podcast. Ha!
