85: TV on TV

Jake Jabbour and Art Tebbel join Jen to talk about the niche of television that is TV shows about TV shows. From early examples like The Dick Van Dyke Show to currently running Episodes, there's no shortage of programs exploring the behind the scenes antics that can unfold when producing a show. There are many different ways to approach depicting a show-within-a-show though, from the specific tone taken while portraying television, to the amount of the fictional show the audience gets to see.
