A new edition of a game is always a good point to start fresh, and Warhammer 40K is no exception. Now that 9th Edition is here, it’s the perfect opportunity to start a new army. So, what has Games Workshoip provided to get you going with a new army? With this episode, we’re starting a new series that looks at the variety of products aimed at helping kick-start a new army, with an emphasis on helping you get the most bang for your buck. In Part 1, we’re diving into the new starter sets for the game, and at the Space Marine and Necron armies contained within. Are these going to give you enough to start playing? Are they good foundations for a larger collection? Are the two sides in each set balanced? And are you really getting your money’s worth? Also, news and new releases, your listener mail, hobby progress, and the Morale Phase!
