In this message, the Lord heals a leper, then orders him to tell no one but rather to go and present himself to the priest for the cleansing ritual. He enters Capernaum, and a Roman centurion comes to Him and begs Him to heal his young male servant. The Lord agrees to come to his house, but the centurion tells Him he is not worthy of this. He can merely speak the word and his servant will be healed. The Lord marvels, saying He has not found faith like this in Israel. He then declares it and the servant is healed. He heals Peter’s mother in law, proving Peter was no pope. Many in town bring their sick and demon possessed to Him and He heals them all.
