In this message, the Lord continues the “sermon on the mount” by talking about light and blindness. No one can serve two masters. The disciples should not be anxious for tomorrow, since His Father will take care of them. They should seek first the kingdom of God, and everything they need will be added to them. They should not judge lest they be judged. What does this mean? Does it support the “anti-judgmentalism” of today? Should one with a beam in his eye try to pull a sliver out of another’s eye? The one with the beam should remove it first! What was the Lord teaching by this?
