Matthew Series 24

In this message, the Lord compares the generation of His enemies to sulky children who refuse to play, whether their friends call on them to play happy games or sad ones. They did not like how John came, but when the Lord came a very different way, they didn’t like that either. Wisdom is justified in her children, however! He castigates the cities in which He had done many of His powerful works because they did not submit. If such works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, or even in Sodom, these cities would still exist! Therefore it will be easier for these cities in the judgment than for the cities of Israel that saw such miracles and did not believe. He thanks the Father for hiding these things from the wise and prudent and revealing them to little children. He calls on those who labor and are burdened to come to Him for relief, for His burden is light and His labor easy.
