Matthew Series 21

In this message, the Lord sends out His disciples like sheep among wolves. Men will betray them and deliver them to trial before rulers. When that day comes, though, they are to take no thought for what to say, for the words will be given them at the time. Is this advice we should follow? They will be betrayed by those closest to them and hated by all, yet they are to endure to the end. They will not have gone over the cities of Israel until the Son of Man has come. Does this speak of the second coming? Does this mean until He “may have come,” as Bullinger suggests in his Companion Bible? The disciple is not greater than his teacher, so since they hated and persecuted Christ, they will do the same to His followers! Nothing is hidden that will not someday be revealed. Does this mean absolutely everything?
